In conjunction with the Illustration Institute, The Sam L. Cohen Children’s Library is delighted to present R. Gregory Christie, in a lively bookmaking program with materials often found for free! This workshop is for children ages 5-12.

A Step by Step Painting with Caldecott honoree, R. Gregory Christie will show you how to make a masterpiece. The two hour session will involve painting on a 11 x 14 canvas. With easy to follow instructions for all levels of students, no experience is necessary. Be ready to have some creative fun! Christie’s calm demeanor and patient teaching set even the most nervous, new painter at ease at the event.
